Afghan Taliban willing to meet PM Imran if officially welcome to Pakistan

The Afghan Taliban on Thursday said that they were happy to visit Pakistan and meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in the event that they are broadened a formal welcome.

The Taliban's declaration comes because of PM Imran Khan's announcement during his ongoing visit to Washington, where he said that he would meet the Taliban and persuade them for a gathering with Afghan government.

"We need harmony in Afghanistan, Pakistan will do everything to enable the Taliban to come on the discourse table so that there is harmony," PM Imran Khan had said.

Addressing the BBC by means of phone from Doha, Afghan Taliban representative Sohail Shaheen said in the event that they would visit Pakistan on the off chance that they are given a formal welcome.

We regularly visit territorial nations and would without a doubt go there in light of the fact that Pakistan is our neighbor and Muslim nation, he was cited as saying.

Harmony in Afghanistan commanded the discourse during PM Imran Khan's lady authority visit to the United States, where President Donald Trump facilitated him at the White House. Trump hailed Pakistan's help in accomplishing the harmony in neighboring war-torn Afghanistan.
